Welcome to Artuner (hereinafter referred to as “this application” or “us”). We deeply understand the importance of privacy to you and promise to protect your personal information. - The information we collect
1.1 Information voluntarily provided by you
When you contact our customer service through email or in app feedback channels, we may collect your name, email address, and other contact information you provide.
When you subscribe to the Professional Edition service, the Apple App Store processes your payment information and we do not directly collect or store your bank card number, payment password, or other financial information.
1.2 Automatically collected information
When you use this application, we may automatically collect the following information:
Device information: device model, operating system version, device unique identifier (such as IDFA, only with your authorization).
Usage data: Your preferences for using this application’s features, tuning history (including instrument type, tuning method, tuning result deviation, and time consumption), metronome usage records, etc.
Diagnostic data: crash logs, performance data, to help us troubleshoot issues and optimize applications.
1.3 Information collected through device permissions
This application may require the following permissions to access your device:
Microphone: Used to receive external sound and perform pitch detection, which is necessary for the core tuning function of this application. We will not record, store, or upload your audio content.
Network: Used for subscription status verification, privacy protocol and service protocol updates, etc.
Notification (optional): Used to send practice reminders or important notifications.
You can enable or disable these permissions at any time in the system settings of the device.
1.4 Information We Will Not Collect
This app will not collect your real name, ID number number, exact geographical location, address book, photo album and other personal sensitive information unrelated to the tuning function.
- How we use your information
The information we collect will be used for the following purposes:
Provide and maintain the core functionality of this application: high-precision pitch detection and tuning through microphone access.
Optimize and improve services: Analyze usage data, understand user preferences, optimize tuning algorithms and user interfaces.

Subscription management: Verify the status of your professional version subscription and manage automatic renewal.

- Storage and protection of information
3.1 Storage location
Your tuning history and usage data are only stored locally on your device. We will not upload your personal data to cloud servers unless you proactively send us a message through customer service channels.
3.2 Data Security
We adopt industry standard security measures such as data encryption transmission, access control, etc. to protect your information from unauthorized access, leakage, tampering, or destruction. But please understand that the Internet environment is not absolutely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of information.

Delete Right: You can delete all locally stored information by uninstalling this app or clearing app data.
Withdrawal of consent right: You can revoke your consent at any time by turning off microphone, notification, and other permissions in the device’s system settings.
Refuse tracking rights: You can disable authorization for advertising identifiers such as IDFA in the privacy settings of your device.

- Children’s Privacy
This application is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not intentionally collect personal information from children under the age of 13. We may update this privacy agreement from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page and the ‘Last Updated Date’ will be updated. If there are significant changes involved (such as substantial changes in the scope of data collection or the purpose of use), we will notify you in a significant manner within the application.
